Rock and Roll Recap for April 3 featuring Steve Miller, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana and more.

1999 - Brothers Ahmet and Dweezil Zappa's variety show, "Happy Hour," premiered on the USA cable network.

1998 - Dave Navarro left the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

1994 - A concert tour by Nirvana and Hole was cancelled due to speculation about Kurt Cobain's drug problems.

1991 - Paul McCartney recorded his "Unplugged" session for MTV in London.

1975 - Steve Miller was charged with setting fire to the clothes and personal effects of his friend Benita Diorio. He was also charged with resisting arrest. The charges were dropped the next day.

1969 - Jim Morrison was arrested by the FBI for interstate flight, stemming from obscenity charges lodged after a concert in Miami.

Not too sure how I feel about the Zappa boy's performance on "Happy Hour," but they do have some pretty sweet dance moves.
