Somehow, the raccoon had gotten into the garage. When a family member opened the door from the house to the garage, they witnessed the raccoon holding onto the door for dear life. As it was swinging back and forth, the critter kept hitting the garage door opener, so it kept going up and down. The animal was swinging on the house door handle, so it kept opening and closing, but the raccoon wouldn't let go. It eventually jumped down and finally left the garage.
