I grew up watching TV shows like "CHiPS" and basically every action movie ever released back in the day. There was always a big chase scene for the grand finale. I think that's why I'm fascinated with police chases.

Illinois Criminal Steals Squad Car And Postal Truck Before Getting Into Accident

Police chases don't seem like reality because they can get so wild and scary since the suspects have nothing to lose. Luckily, I've never experienced one in real life. I feel bad for anyone that got caught in the middle of the showdown.

There was recently a frightening police chase in Bedford Park. In the middle of the afternoon, the suspect thought it would be a good idea to steal a police vehicle and so it began. After a few miles, the thief crashed the squad car and had to move on.

The suspect hopped out of the squad car and looked for his next mode of transportation. The victim was a postal worker. The thief then took off in the mail truck. By the way, now he's broken federal laws with that move.

This wild police chase ended when the thief crashed the postal vehicle into an innocent bystander's car. The victims were taken to the hospital but will be okay, thankfully. The suspect won't be stealing any cars for a long time with where he's going.
