At long last, Phil Collins returned to the stage last night (March 11), performing a handful of hits at a fundraiser at the Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach, Fla. You can watch him play "In the Air Tonight" from the concert above.

According to Stereogum, Collins played seven songs, beginning with five of his hits (including "Easy Lover," his duet with Philip Bailey of Earth, Wind & Fire) and closing with covers of the Temptations' "My Girl" and a reggae-infused take on Bob Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door." Collins didn't play the drums because of his health issues, but the stool was occupied by his son Nick. Setlist.fm reports that the rest of his band was comprised of people he's worked with frequently throughout his solo career: Daryl Stuermer (guitar), Nathan East (bass), Brad Cole (keyboards), Gerald Albright (saxophone) and Luis Conte (percussion).

The concert was a benefit for the Little Dreams Foundation, which he and his then-wife, Orianne, founded in 2000. Its goal is to "fulfill the dreams of young aspiring talents without financial means to achieve their goals" in music, arts and sports. Collins had been scheduled to play their fundraiser in December 2014, but canceled at the last minute due to vocal problems.

With the exception of singing two songs at his sons' middle school spring concert in May 2014, Collins hadn't performed since 2010, when his tour in support of his soul covers album, Going Back, concluded. While he has considered himself to have been out of retirement for nearly two years, he admitted last month that he had not yet written any new songs and that he had no desire to play live outside of "a few shows."
