When I was younger, traveling by airplane was so much easier. You would breeze through check-in and security. There was no getting to the airport several hours before your flight. It's gotten so bad that many people are no longer flying anywhere. They would much rather drive the long distance than deal with the hassle.

There have always been some restrictions on what you can take on the airplane with you, but it has gotten ridiculous. Airports are absolutely the worst places to have to go through security.
