Non-Profit Pays Off Fallen McHenry County Deputy’s Mortgage

Here's a feel-good story, fallen McHenry County Sheriff's Deputy Jacob Keltner's wife will not have to worry about paying off the mortgage on their home.

Officer Keltner was killed in Rockford while working as a U.S. Marshall. Deservingly so, communities all over Illinois and much of the country honored Officer Keltner of ways. That support and recognition has continued since his tragic death in March. A non-profit program, Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, made sure Keltner's wife is taken care of moving forward.

Deputy Keltner was shot and killed in March at a Rockford hotel while he was attempting to serve an arrest warrant.
