My Statue is Cooler Than Yours Kurt Cobain

Sorry Washington, my statue of David is so much cooler than your crying Kurt Cobain statue.

I mean, seriously! February 20 has been declared "Kurt Cobain Day" in his home town of Aberdeen, Washington. The statue has been installed in the Aberdeen Museum of History. Not only is this statue of Kurt Cobain, whom I've never really liked, but it is of him playing the guitar and crying. A weeping Kurt Cobain statue. I don't care what anyone says, my David is so much cooler than their crying Kurt.

1. David doesn't cry unless God tells him to cry. I mean, look how cool he is in his leaf and sunglasses. David also lives in my very own backyard, so I can see all of his glory any time I want to.

2. David is strong. He can carry my friend Doug. David stands almost 6 feet tall and weights about 500 lbs. He's not going any where.

3. David also likes to dress up for the holidays and special occasions. Here he is with Moe celebrating my birthday.

Yep, told you so. David is awesome. He's the only statue I know that has a following and a fan club. Neighbors and delivery drivers ask to take pictures with him all the time. He's kind of a big deal.
