Mellany’s Dog Walk This Saturday

Downtown Rockton will host a one-mile dog walk this Saturday.Bring your dog to downtown Rockton this Saturday for Mellany's Dog Walk. There will be live music, prizes, raffles along with treats & water for the dogs and their humans. All dogs attending will receive a coupon for a free puppy cone from DairyHaus. If you don't have a dog and would like to attend, you are welcome!

This is The 3rd Mellany's Dog Walk to benefit dog therapy at Rockford Memorial Hospital and we are looking to make this the biggest one yet. Mellany McDuffa  was a long-time employee of the hospital. After her death from ovarian cancer in 2012, a memorial fund was established in her name to fund the pet therapy program.

The walk begins Saturday in downtown Rockton at 10:30am and goes until 1:30pm.
