McDonald’s Confirms “McPlant” Burger – But When Will it Come to Rockford?

The famous Chicken Sandwich that had us all waiting hours in line, and the Impossible Whopper that was a huge treat for vegetarians.
Although it may seem like they're late to the game, McDonald's has been working on getting into the chicken sandwich/plant based burger game for a while. And now, it's finally coming to light.
McDonald's announced Monday the new "McPlant" which is a plant based burger crafted exclusively for McDonald's. They also announced a new Crispy Chicken Sandwich that they're working on. The Chicken sandwich is scheduled to hit menus early 2021. So what about the "McPlant"?

Some markets will test the burger next year. Whether or not the vegan-friendly burger will arrive in the U.S. and a potential timeline was not immediately known.
