If you live in Rockford or any other area in northern Illinois you know that seasons can change without notice.

Out here, there isn't such thing as four seasons. I mean, we eventually get to a full blown summer, spring, winter and fall, but there are so many days in between that confuse us all.

For example, it was snowing on Saturday. Then it was beautiful on Sunday. Monday it started to rain. Seasons in Illinois make you wonder if you fell in some weird black hole taking you back or forward in time.

An Illinois guy took this photo a couple of days ago from the back of his house where all four seasons are happening at the same time.

The snow on the patio represents winter, the trees turning color are about as fall looking as you can get, while the sun shining on the house is summer.

I guess spring is the cesspool in the guys backyard.

If the state ever needed a new slogan for those visiting Illinois, I think I might have figured it out, "Come to Illinois. Where you can experience all four seasons at one time, in one day."
