Lake Michigan Has Its Own Version Of The Bermuda Triangle
I remember when I was growing up, I would always see stories and shows about the Bermuda Triangle. It was this big scary place in the ocean where ships and airplanes would disappear without a trace. I don't really see much about it anymore. I'm sure there are still mysterious things that happen in the Bermuda Triangle.

It is known by sailors and historians as the Lake Michigan Triangle. Just like the famous Bermuda Triangle, this specific zone has swallowed entire ships and airplanes without a single trace. The triangle stretches from Ludington to Benton Harbor in Michigan, and across the water to Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
Lake Michigan is a great asset for Illinois to have. It is a beautiful body of water that many residents enjoy, but it also has a dark side. My dad spent several years living in Chicago, so he was always very careful when we went into the water. He would tell me that the lake could be very dangerous. I thought he was just being paranoid, but I've learned through the years that he was right.
All of the Great Lakes, including Lake Michigan, have the reputation of being dangerous, but did you know that Lake Michigan has its own triangle just like the Berumda Triangle. The Lake Michigan Triangle goes from Ludington to Benton Harbor to Manitowoc. I never knew that fact, but I'm not surprised. There have been many shipwrecks in Lake Michigan, especially in the triangle throughout the years.
