Trick Or Treaters Rocked To Kiss Tribute Band In IL Neighborhood
The trick-or-treaters in this Loves Park, Illinois neighborhood got a special show on Halloween night with a local Kiss tribute band.
Unique Halloween Tradition For Illinois Neighborhood
There are many great holiday traditions in Illinois, especially when it comes to Halloween. If you going to pick the best, then I suggest taking a good look at this neighborhood in Loves Park.
Their unique event includes a Kiss tribute band rocking out for the trick-or-treaters. With live music and candy, they've got my vote.
The Story Of Loves Park's Friendly Neighborhood Kiss Tribute
Take a look up and down your neighborhood. There are houses filled with families, fathers, mothers, and more. Some of them at one point in their lives had a Rock n' Roll dream.
As teenagers, they got together with some friends to start a band. Unfortunately, the chance of making it to the big time is very slim. There's still that young rocker deep in their soul.
Let's travel to a neighborhood in Loves Park, Illinois. Four dudes who had those same dreams. They figured out they all play instruments and like the same kind of music. The guys start jamming. Then someone had a brilliant idea. Let's play a show.
So on Halloween 2021, the group debuts as a Kiss tribute band. They figure out the perfect venue. One of the member's driveways. This new project would have a built-in audience with trick-or-treaters and neighbors.
They painted their faces, put on the gear, and played a short set of their favorite tunes. It was a huge hit. These guys will return next year with a bigger and better show to entertain their friends.
Loves Park Kiss Tribute Show Halloween 2022
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend last year but when I found out they were coming back, I made sure not to miss it. I was told that the band had a huge show planned and they weren't exaggerating. The boys went way beyond my expectations. I'm not going to lie, I had a big smile on my face the whole time.
The band was in full Kiss make-up, stage clothes, and gear. There was a stage and curtains to hide the set before the show. A massive Kiss light-up sign as a backdrop. I can't forget about the fireworks, smoke, pyro, and lights. Plus, a PA big enough to rock out the whole neighborhood. The set was expanded to include both hits and deep cuts from their musical heroes. They threw candy and treats to the young fans up front. This time around featured an opening band too. Just for the kids, they added a rocked-up version of the Baby Shark song.
When I arrived, the streets were lined with cars. The driveway and front yard were already filled with fans. Other people just hung out in the street. All the neighbors were there enjoying Halloween together. They were singing, dancing, and living their best lives. For a short time, this Loves Park neighborhood turned into a stadium.
