Jaimie Cox Foundation Helps Local Veteran’s Children Smile Again
In April the foundation that was established after the death of Rockford Police Officer Jaimie Cox in November 2017 was granted a non-profit 501(c)(3) status.
According to their Facebook,
To date we have been able to contribute over $15,000 to The Jaimie Cox Memorial Scholarship. We hope to expand our support to those pursuing higher education in the future. Additionally, we have provided over $2500 in donations to agencies serving local veterans and local, underprivileged children.
So far they are doing amazing things for so many families in the Rockford area in Jaimie's name, and yesterday was no exception.
If you want to help the Jaimie Cox Foundation continue their mission to "use power of community to better the lives of first responders, veterans, underprivileged children, and those pursuing higher education", please follow their Facebook page so you can stay up to date on all the ways you can get involved.
