Popular Eastern Iowa Restaurant and Beer Garden Closing After 22 Years
The goal of every business owner is to be successful for as long as they want and then to go out on their own terms. While that is happening for restaurant owners in the Quad Cities, with nobody taking over operations, those restaurants will be closing.
But you still have time to check out both locations in Le Claire and Moline before they shut the doors for good.
It's Been 22 Years Of Chears In The Quad Cities
A lot has happened in the last 22 years. Through it all, you could enjoy Bavarian Pretzel, Kasepatzle, Knackwurst, Braunschweiger, Wienerschnitzel, and many other hard-to-pronounce German dishes at Bierstube Draught Haus & Grill.
With locations in Moline at 415 15th Street and Le Claire at 1001 Canal Shore Dr, the home of the famous "das Boot" will no longer be serving up all that German food and all that beer.
Owners of Bierstube to Retire
According to a post on Facebook:
After 22 memorable years, Dieter and Nancy Rebitzer, owners of the Bierstube Bar and Grill, are retiring! While we are very happy and excited for their next adventure, we will greatly miss all of our loyal employees, guests, and friends we have made. The community has been amazing and we are very grateful for each and every year. Ein Prosit to the Rebitzers and the legacy known to us as the Bierstube. The next few weeks we will be throwing quite the party as we get ready to say our goodbye. We hope to see you all one last time for lots of great food, beer and laughter.Sincerely,The Bierstube Team
