The Rockford IceHogs return home this weekend with two games and a pair of special theme nights designed to give fans even more reasons to head downtown.

IceHogs Bring Two Home Games to Rockford This Weekend

Our Hogs will host the Iowa Wild on Friday (10/16), followed by the Grand Rapids Griffins on Saturday (10/17). The weekend features a nostalgic trip back to the 1990s and a brand-new celebration of books, local artists, and the Rockford community.

Mike Peck from the Rockford Ice Hogs joined the Q Morning Crew to preview the upcoming games and share what fans can expect.

Friday Night Brings Back the 90s

Friday's matchup against Iowa will feature 90s Night, complete with throwback vibes and special concession prices.

Fans can enjoy $3 beers and $3 soft drinks while celebrating a decade known for neon colors, pop culture crazes, and virtual pets.

Saturday Debuts First-Ever Book Club Night

Saturday's game against Grand Rapids will introduce the IceHogs' first-ever Book Club Night, an event that combines hockey with a celebration of reading and local creativity.

A limited number of special pregame tickets, starting at $35, include a tote bag, early access to activities featuring local artists, bookstores, and a book exchange throughout the game.

Fans are encouraged to bring a physical book to trade with another reader and not to wait to buy pregame event tickets, as they have been selling out quickly, according to Peck.

How to Get Rockford IceHogs Tickets

After this weekend's two-game homestand, the IceHogs will be hitting the road for a couple of weeks before returning to Rockford on Friday, October 30.

Fans can find ticket information and additional details about upcoming games and promotions at IceHogs.com or through Ticketmaster.
