Coffee lovers in the Rockford area have loved Fire Department Coffee for years, but soon the whole nation will love it too thanks to Walmart.

Every year I get older, I seem to appreciate coffee a little more. While I used to prefer my daily cup to be half flavored coffee and half flavored creamer, these days I appreciate a bold, flavorful coffee with far less creamer.

My coffee tastes may have matured and changed a bit over the years, but one thing that hasn't is my love for Rockford-based Fire Department Coffee.

Am I the only one that gets tickled to see something Rockford based featured on a national level? I just love seeing good Rockford news and businesses go viral, and seeing this post from Fire Dept. Coffee had me grinning from ear to ear:

How did I not know that Fire Dept. Coffee is now available for purchase at Walmart? I guess I'll have to add it to my Walmart pickup favorites now.
