Can I admit something ridiculous?  I have never played golf before.

I went to a driving range...once, and it ended with me vowing to never swing a golf club again. Now that I am a middle age woman though, I'm thinking I should give golf another chance.

X-Golf Is Now Open in Rockford

My parents live in the Perryville and Newburg Road area, so I drive by the old Ingrassia/ Art Van Furniture building frequently. For well over a year now I have noticed X-Golf signs on the building and have wondered what the heck it is and when it would be opening, and the day has finally come!

For those that have never been to one of X-Golf's 15 other locations in Illinois, this indoor golf lounge offers "the most innovative and accurate golf simulator experience in the world", plus they offer lessons, leagues, tournaments, food, and even alcohol!

X-Golf Rockford is now open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Monday, 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
