Henry Dorrbaker's Pub & Play is getting ready for their grand opening in Beloit, Wisconsin this November, but this new attraction is about more than just family-friendly fun.

Henry Dorrbaker's will be a place for the whole family to enjoy a "mix of old-school charm and modern fun".

Young family members will love the mini-put, duckpin bowling, (which is basically bowling with a smaller ball, pins, and lanes), and vintage arcade games, while older family members will love the racing simulator, foosball table, and huge bar serving up pub favorite foods.

Henry Dorrbaker's will definitely be the family fun hotspot to be at in Beloit, but what makes it even more special is the man who inspired it.

Who Was Henry Dorrbaker from Beloit, Wisconsin?

First and foremost, Henry Dorrbaker was a Beloit resident who LOVED bowling. He opened Beloit's first bowling alley in 1899 which quickly became THE place to be in the community. In the following years Henry Dorrbaker became a passionate ambassador for the sport of bowling throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest, and his talent and dedication led to a lasting legacy
