Important Parking Info From the City of Byron
Each year when The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train stops in Byron, it usually causes a traffic headache for those that are unprepared. If you're wondering where to park or what streets will be closed in preparation for the event, here's some important info from the City of Byron;
Colfax Street will be closed south of Byron Hills and north of Third Street along with the closure of Seventh Street. Traffic should detour by using Barker Road. We further recommend you arrive early and not park on the north side of the tracks as once the train arrives you WILL NOT be allowed to cross the railroad tracks at the pedestrian crossing as it will be closed. The event will be held on the south side of the tracks in the intersection of Colfax and Seventh.
