Franklin County Sheriff, Kyle Bacon, stated their officers were dispatched to Mulkeytown around 5:20am on Wednesday where a man had been reportedly destroying property with a 3-foot long, double edged sword.
Kevin J. Fasig II refused to surrender to police after they instructed him to put down the sword, so they attempted to subdue him with a stun gun twice, but it was ineffective.
After pepper spraying him, authorities arrested Fasig.
Fasig has been charged by the Franklin County State’s Attorney’s Office with two counts of aggravated assault and three counts of criminal damage to property. He is currently held at the Franklin County Jail.
