Everyone has that one habit they swear they're going to quit.  And then somehow, they're doing it again the very next day.  I started thinking about this after talking with friends about the hardest habits they've ever tried to break, and honestly, some of them are way more relatable than I excepted.

For some people in Rockford, it's biting their nails.  Others said spending too much money at Target is basically a personality trait at this point.  A lot of people admitted they're glued to their phones 24/7, especially late at night when they should absolutely be sleeping.  I'm guilty of that one too.  Somehow "just checking one thing" turns into scrolling for an hour.

Then there are food habits.  Drinking too much pop, stopping for fast food out of convenience, emotional snacking... those are tough because they are part of everyday routines.  Breaking a habit is hard when it's attached to comfort or stress relief.  And let's be honest, when life gets chaotic, it's really easy to fall right back into old patterns.

The funny thing is, almost everyone has something they're trying to work on.  Even small habits can feel impossible to break when you've been doing them for so long.  But hearing other people talk about theirs makes you realize you're definitely not alone.
