According to Illinois Lottery officials, someone won $1,809,642 playing the Ultimate Diamond Jackpot FastPlay game.  The win was announced on Wednesday, making it another major lottery prize awarded in Illinois this year.

This is the second-largest prize awarded in a FastPlay game so far this year and the sixth jackpot of its kind since the game launched in 2020.

Unlike traditional games, FastPlay doesn't actually have you choose your own numbers.  The game reveals whether a ticket is a winner right away.  Earlier this year, someone claimed the $1.04B jackpot that everyone was hoping to win, a $1M Powerball ticket was sold at Jewel-Osco in Spring Grove, Illinois, and someone even won $550,000 playing the Lucky Day Lotto last September.
