Like everything else in 2026, we’re nostalgic for some of our long-forgotten favorites, so I guess that means bringing back Bed Bath & Beyond.

Retail Revival: Bed Bath & Beyond Returns from the Dead

It doesn’t even feel like Bed Bath & Beyond’s been gone that long for us to miss the place, but nonetheless, they have come back from the dead, returning to partner with The Container Store.

There are nearly 100 stores nationwide getting the The Container Store Bed Bath and Beyond treatment, including four locations in Illinois:

* Chicago
* Northbrook
* Oak Brook
* Schaumburg

The Container Store Clears Space for the "Beyond" Inventory

To make this happen, The Container Store is clearing out about a third of its inventory to make room for bed things, bath things, and beyond things.

Discounts at The Container Store will start now, and all of the Bed Bath & Beyond stuff will start rolling in later in 2026.

A New "Home Everything" Shopping Experience

Seems like the idea is to make a combined “home everything” shopping experience, which kind of sounds like what the original Bed Bath & Beyond was all about.
