Check Your Change Jar: This Penny is Worth $60K Minnesota and Iowa
Check your change jar Minnesota and Iowa!! This penny could be worth $60,000 dollars or more!
I don't remember the last time I used cash to purchase anything.
I always use my phone to pay now. I legit never have any cash, especially not change. Except for that one lonely quarter in my purse for my Aldi stops.
However, I do still have a few change jars in my house that have been left untouched for a looong time.
Are you one to pick up a penny if you spot it on the street? You might want to start. It could make you tens of thousands of dollars.
According to Heritage Auctions a 1943 Copper Lincoln Cent could be worth around $40,000. But, wait, there's more.
If you spot a penny that has the initials "VDB" you could be sitting on a gold mine!!
Go Banking Rates says that a rare 1909 Lincoln Penny with “VDB” on it sold at auction for $60,000 dollars. Holy crap!
What exactly is VDB?
It stands for Victor David Brenner who is a famous sculptor, engraver and medalist.
