My Favorite Vintage Score

I have to say there are several vintage pieces of furniture that I have found that I absolutely love in my home, but hands down the most functional piece is this 1967 Sears Silvertone record cabinet.

The turntable no longer worked, and the speakers had rotted, so we decided to leave all of the internal wiring intact and leave the turntable in place, but we took out the speakers.  We now use the old record cabinet as a TV stand.  Behind the speaker covers are things like our router, my husband's PlayStation, and other things that we don't need to access every day.  I love that we were able to keep the classic charm of the record cabinet, but utilize it in a modern way.  And we didn't have to take out anything except the speakers, so if we ever want to get it fixed, we can.
