This is a super niche study, but I'm glad someone conducted it! When looking through the most popular gadgets by state I found that both Hoosiers and Kentuckians alike have an affinity for air fryers.

Every Christmas for the past few years someone in my family has gotten an air fryer. It seems to be the go-to gift. And if you have an air fryer you know how handy these little gadgets are. According to Mr. Appliance not only are air fryers the most popular kitchen gadget in Indiana and Kentucky, but they also top the charts for the most coveted kitchen gadget according to their research.
Hungry for chicken wings? The air fryer is the most coveted kitchen gadget on Americans’ wishlists. The average number of monthly searches for air fryers on Amazon is a whopping 561,000, far surpassing any other gadget or small appliance on the list. The Ninja Air Fryer is the most searched brand of air fryer on Amazon, averaging 48,000 monthly searches.
Mr. Appliance found that the three most popular kitchen gadgets in the country are:
