I have had many members of my family who have been over-the-road truck drivers including my late father-in-law. It's not an easy vocation to say the least. There's a new list of truck stops that drivers say are too dangerous to stop at including one place in Missouri.

I saw this list shared on the sub-Reddit. It's a publication from High Value Load showing numerous truck stops across America that are considered a real danger to drivers and their loads. You'll only see one Missouri location listed.

If you can't see the small print from Reddit, this is the place in the St. Louis, Missouri area on Google Street View. It's 6124 North Broadway, Saint Louis, MO 63147 aka a Love's station.

I don't have any first-hand experience with this Love's station, but I take the advice of drivers who came up with this list. The Reddit post says it comes from L Brands Asset Protection. I looked them up on Indeed and they are a security company which is why I felt like it was worth sharing what they had come up with for drivers.

While I don't recall ever stopping at this specific truck stop, there's no doubt it's in a high-crime part of the St. Louis, Missouri area.

What you do with this information is up to you. I normally would never advise avoiding a business, but for truck drivers safety is a big deal. Check out the full list if you'd like to see other "don't stop" places in America on Reddit.
