Bizarre Flight Path of a ‘Doomsday Plane’ Over Missouri Right Now

I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation to what I've just witnessed or at least that's what I'm telling myself. One of the super-secret US 'Doomsday Planes' is doing a bizarre flight path over part of Missouri as I write this.

I was first alerted to something strange going on by the NYPrepper YouTube channel. It involved multiple US Boeing E-6B planes (aka 'Doomsday Planes') currently over the US including one code named LASS66. Flight Aware shows the flight path that this plane has taken over the last few hours. It took off from its base in Nebraska and has been constantly looping over the northwest corner of Missouri. The "OFF" on the map stands for Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.

If you're not familiar with the Boeing E-6B Mercury, it's a worst-case scenario command and control plane that is capable of communicating with ground forces and leaders and even launching the nation's nuclear arsenal.

It's not uncommon for these E6-B Mercury planes to be airborne over America, but I've never seen a flight path quite like this one. I'm sure there's a rational explanation or so I hope.

Considering world conditions with conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine and rumors of unrest between the US and China regarding Taiwan, it's good to pay attention to what our emergency forces are doing. Let's hope this is just a routine trip over a bunch of corn fields in Missouri and Iowa. Let's hope.
