Missouri Chaser Shares Ominous Video of Dead Man Walking Twister

Missouri has been slammed by more damaging twisters this Spring than I can recall in recent memory. A brand new video by a chaser in Missouri reveals an ominous twister known as a 'dead man walking' tornado and it's a stunner.

Gabriel Taylor just shared this interesting chase that he just completed on May 8, 2024 in the Monett/Aurora area of Missouri. According to the National Weather Service, this twister he was chasing was rated an EF-1.

As the chase began, he could see this tornado appear just to the right over the tree line.

At one point, he could even see vehicles ahead that were caught up INSIDE of this Missouri tornado.

A little further down the road, a police officer tried to prevent him from driving into the tornado's damage path, but let him go once he realized that Gabriel was a professional chaser.

It was then that this twister revealed the 'dead man walking' formation which is how chasers describe multi-vortex tornadoes that appear to have 'legs'.

I would highly recommend watching all of Gabriel's chase as he does it safely behind the tornado without putting himself or anyone around him in danger.
