First Frost of the Season in Wisconsin Only a Couple Weeks Away?

It's hard to imagine as the heat of summer hasn't fully receded that Wisconsin could see its first frost of the season in only a handful of weeks. Data shows on average that is very much a possibility.

If you've lived in Wisconsin for any period of time, you know the type of weather you get will vary greatly depending on what part of the state you live in. Duh. The eastern part of Wisconsin is obviously greatly affected by lake effect weather and the further north you go, the more likely you're gonna think your weather is from Canada.

According to the average first date of frost shared by Farmer's Almanac, some places in Wisconsin could see temps dip below freezing within the next 2 or 3 weeks depending on when you're reading this.

Every season is different and considering that last winter was milder than most, maybe Wisconsin won't see frost until October. Or, it could be next week. Wisconsin weather does what it wants to.
