Irony – Guilty Missouri Robber Goes Online, Gets Robbed Himself
If you've heard the phrase "what goes around, comes around" then you'll understand the irony of this. A convicted robber in Missouri went online with his loot and then promptly got robbed himself.
I saw KSDK out of St. Louis share the story of Jonathan Davis. They report that Jonathan is a 24-year-old guy who worked at Steak ‘N Shake at 9550 Natural Bridge Road in Berkeley until around 3 years ago.
Jonathan was tried and convicted of robbing the Steak 'N Shake where he worked and sentenced to 10 years and 5 months in prison. That's a sad story of a convicted criminal already, but it's other details of Jonathan's story that are where things get interesting.
KSDK reports that Jonathan Davis used the money he stole from Steak 'N Shake to buy an iPhone and some things for his girlfriend. They also note that he lost $1,000 in an online scam when trying to buy a car. (*face palm*)
I would agree that two wrongs don't make a right, but I'd be untruthful if I said I didn't feel a little bit of satisfaction when I hear about a robber getting robbed. No, that's not complete justice, but if someone is gonna get robbed, let it be a robber.
