According to the travel experts at Explore Now or Never, Chicago is on the list of the best places to visit in November. Chicago makes the list with places like Washington DC, Death Valley, Vail (Colorado), and Las Vegas. Why is Chicago such a great place to spend your November? On the site, they say...

"Chicago is alive with events in November, like the annual Chicago Thanksgiving Parade and Bears games at Soldier Field. Or if you’re into art and culture, November is the perfect month to get cozy in the world-class museums here. November is also when a lot of the winter events open in Chicago…events like Christkindlmarket, the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival, and Chicago Christmas Tree lighting.  The Daley Park Ice Skating Ribbon opens November 19, and it’s the coolest ice rink I’ve been to. You won’t want to miss it if you visit Chicago in November!"

I couldn't agree more with this article! November is a great time to travel across the United States, the southern states like Florida, Texas, and Arizona can give you that heat you are craving, but the big cities like Chicago come alive in the fall. You do have to be careful because there were times when I would go to the Thanksgiving parade in Chicago and the temps were below freezing...you have been warned!
