Craving Waffles? Head to This Must-Try Illinois Breakfast Spo

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and there is one place that takes that statement to a whole different level.

Waffles (to me) are just ok. I'm more of a French toast kind of person, but apparently, Chicago Waffles is that "hidden" spot in Chicago where you can take your waffle game up a level.

It makes me think of that Shrek scene with Donkey and waffles.

I don't think you will be getting ejected from Chicago Waffles, but you can get pretty much any topping you can think of. Chicago Waffel, open since 2011, is quickly becoming the hot spot for everything waffles. (and other stuff).

As many times as I have visited the Windy City, I haven't heard of this pale, but we are always looking for new places to go when we visit so, yup, this is going to be on our restaurant's bucket list.
