Small Town Wisconsin Highlighted On Hit Show
This might be the most random thing you hear all day but it's fun! I was watching the newest episode of 9-1-1 on ABC and Wisconsin had a starring role. Yes, really. The episode is the fourth in season seven and is called Buck, Bothered and Bewildered.
9-1-1 Meets 'The Bachelor'
For some background, this episode was a crossover of sorts with the latest season of The Bachelor. Because the firefighting drama is set in Los Angeles where the dating show also films, they just had to respond to an emergency at the famous 'Bachelor' mansion.
This is where Wisconsin comes into play. They didn't play into any Wisconsin stereotypes but they didn't make the Cheesehead State look very good, either.
Sheboygan Shines Bright!
The latest lead played himself in the episode and greeted some potential suitors coming out of the limo. The last one was a little suspicious from the second she stepped out of it, and we find out that she took someone else's spot so she could have a chance to get that final rose.

To really stand out, she proceeds to super glue herself to the driveway. It turns out, this fake suitor is from Sheboygan! Not only is she from Wisconsin, she says, but she is also an esthetician.
That's Not The Last Of Sheboygan, Either
As the firefighting crew is called to set to unglue this unhinged woman from the driveway, the 'Bachelor' comforts her and tells her that he has family in Wisconsin and that he is indeed familiar with Sheboygan. It has been named the best small town in the state, after all!

In fact, the woman really lights up when she hears the 'Bachelor' say that he indeed knows all about Sheboygan. 9-1-1 has mentioned Minnesota a bunch over the course of the show so giving Wisconsin some time to shine was a bit surprising!
