It’s Official. This Is The Coldest April In Rockford’s History!

You may have noticed that it's been a little bit cooler than normal the past few weeks. 

We often go to hyperbole and say things like "It's never been this cold!"

Well, this is the one case where hyperbole is a reality.

According to the National Weather Service, 2018 has been the coldest first half of April for Rockford since 1905.

The bad news is that there doesn't seem to be any end in sight. The next time the mercury hits 50 isn't supposed to happen until next week.

Until then make sure you keep the coats and hats out. You might want to make sure that the snow scraper is still in your car as well.
