Incredible Dash Cam Video Captures Meteor Streaking Over Northern Illinois

Look up in the sky; it's a bird, it's a plane... no, it's definitely not Superman.

Imagine waking up in the middle of the night to get a glass of water and you're standing in your kitchen when all of a sudden you see a flash of blue spark through the sky; you ask yourself, "what on earth was that?"

It couldn't be lightning; the skies are way too clear. Could it be a UFO? A ballistic missile? Nah, it was probably just a shooting star or a comet; you could've just been seeing things considering that you were half asleep. You tell yourself it was probably nothing and go back to bed.

If this has ever happened to you, or ever does, what you probably saw was a meteor streaking through the sky.  The US National Weather Service Chicago Illinois shared this dash cam video from Lisle, Illinois of a meteor that was seen in Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa.
