Illinois Female Booze Thief Had a Pocket Full of Bad Ideas
An Orland Park, Illinois woman walked out of a grocery store with a cart full of booze that she didn't pay for. The funny part of the story, that wasn't really why she was arrested...PATCH
I forget my wallet all the time...I will leave for a store, or work, or wherever and will have to turn around and head back home. 9 times out of 10 my wife will be standing there with my wallet in her hand as I pull back in the driveway. This woman didn't forget her wallet, she forget that she has heroin in her pocket. Oops.
Lisa N. Skrobanski loaded up a cart filled with her favorite spirits and figured she would just leave with it. No paying, not even trying to hide it, screw it I'm leaving!
Cops show up to arrest her for theft and got a little more than they bargained for! Lisa had heroin in her pocket...oops. This led to a full search, it just snowballs...
Lisa was busted for:
Felony possession of a controlled substance
Two misdemeanor charges for having drug needles and other equipment
She was found with needles, and other drug equipment as well. Officers performed a sobriety test, which Lisa failed and was found under the influence oh heroin as well.
The grocery cart has $240 worth of booze in it. So taking all the Fireball got her in a HUGE load of trouble. Bail for Lisa was set at $20,000 and these are federal charges.
