Illinois’ Best Music Fest Is Finally Moving To A New Home
Concert fans are excited because the best music festival in Illinois now has a new and much better home for this year.
New Home For Illinois' Best Music Festival
I'm a huge music fan. Some people collect stuff or have hobbies like golfing. I spend my free time and entertainment budget on going to concerts. I just love the live band experience. I've been to so many shows in my life, I couldn't even begin to count.

One of my favorite types of musical adventures is festivals. You get so much more bang for your buck. Plus, there's usually more at that event than just bands. It's a whole experience. I've been to several in Illinois, around the United States, and even Finland.
Out of all the music festivals I've ever been to, my favorite by far is Riot Fest right here in Illinois. No offense to any of the others because they're all fun but that can't match up. Riot Fest is what Lollapalooza used to be when it was a touring festival except on a much bigger scale.
When Riot Fest started as an outdoor festival it was held at Humboldt Park in Chicago. A couple of years later, the festival was forced to move locations to Douglas Park. After battles with the Chicago Park District year after year, the organizers decided it was time to leave the city for a better situation.
This year Riot Fest is moving to the suburbs. It will be held at and around SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview. They have hosted music festivals in the past including Chicago Open Air. I believe it's a much better venue. I'm looking forward to checking it out.
