Illinois police arrested a man after finding him with 22 stolen pumpkins.

I see stories all the time about people stealing stuff. Sometimes the stolen merchandise is strange. In this case, the hot items aren't too weird. I just think the amount is a little outrageous.

According to theherald-news.com,

"Joliet police issued a compliance ticket to a man for probable cause of theft in a case they have dubbed The Great Pumpkin Theft. Officers stopped a vehicle after someone called and said a man was stealing pumpkins from a store. They found pumpkins inside the vehicle."

Okay, I can understand taking a couple of pumpkins but why so many?
