According to Patch The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Hospital sifted through data for nearly 5,000 hospitals, and have come up with the list of the best and worst hospitals in Illinois.

12 Illinois hospitals received 5 out of 6 stars and there was one 6 star hospital in Illinois.

Rochelle Community Hospital was a 5 star rated hospital, and there are plenty of Rockford area hospitals that did quite well on this rating system.
