Illinois Home Has Helicopter Part Crash Through The Roof

A wheel from a helicopter falls off and goes through the roof of a house in Illinois.

Have you ever looked in the sky when an airplane is flying over? What about wondering if something fell off? Well, I have. It's a pretty scary thought.

In this case, it was a helicopter but still frightening.

According to fox32chicago.com,

"A suburban Chicago woman that lives near a municipal airport says she found what is believed to be a helicopter wheel lodged in the ceiling of her home's bathroom. She found the wheel poking through the ceiling and plaster was everywhere. Federal Aviation Administration officials say it appears to be a dolly wheel assembly from a helicopter. The agency was investigating when and from which aircraft the part fell. Firefighters pushed the wheel out the roof and took it away."

Luckily, no one was injured and there wasn't any serious damage.
