Illinois Gaming Board Orders Casino Closings

Well, if you're tired of hearing about closings or postponements of places or events due to Corona-virus concerns, you are not alone. I am too! It seems like I couldn't go 10 minutes yesterday without some kind of an alert with something being cancelled.

Schools, March Madness, NBA, NHL, Major League Baseball have all cancelled or suspended operations for the time being. Last night, the Illinois Gaming Board added another to the list by ordering the 10 Illinois casinos to shut down for two weeks starting no later on Monday, March 16th, at midnight.

We can only hope this will pass quickly so we can get back to life as we know it, but until then, nothing wrong with a little inconvenience in the name of caution.
