Grab a glass of milk, it's about to get real heated up in here.

DID YOU KNOW?

Two common "put out the heat" drinks people reach for are totally the opposite of what you're hoping for?

Water-don't do it, all you're doing is spreading the spice.

Beer? Bad idea, it's essentially all water.

I saw this burger and thought to myself, "Hey, that looks amazing.", then read the ingredients. It's so filled with heat I literally started sweating.

This burger, guaranteed to take your tastebuds on a trip to hell and back (not to mention the fire you'll feel a few hours later), comes from Route No. 73 Brew & Chew.

THE REAPER

One bite of this burger and I would be expecting a visit from the grim reaper, possibly even hoping.

The ingredients? Hell's produce.

  • 100% locally raised beef patty
  • Crunchy jalapeño onion strings
  • Chipotle mayo
  • Sriracha
  • Smoked bacon
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Pretzel Bun
  • Carolina Reaper peppers

It's worth noting the beef patty is infused with Carolina reaper peppers. Route No. 73 says

all that heat gets balanced out by the sweetness of the smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, and the Pretzel bun making it a super enjoyable and a hard to stop eating BAD A$$ BURGER!

Honestly, I'd be sold on this burger if it weren't for the Carolina reaper peppers.

Even though daily and sugar are great for extinguishing heat from spicy foods, I'm on the fence about all those other ingredients being enough to make me wish I wasn't dead after the first bite.

If you're a spicy food fan you've got until the end of the month to try this hellacious delicacy from Route No. 73 Brew & Chew in Pearl City, Illinois.
