In May, decision-makers at the Tommy Bartlett Show opted to cancel the 2020 season. The season would have kicked off Memorial weekend, as reported here.

This is a very difficult decision for us to make, but having a little more than a 100- day window in which to host our Shows, leaves us with limited options to proceed.

But, organizers had high hopes for the 2021 season.

We will push forward with a plan to reopen the Show in 2021.

If you are not familiar with the show, it takes place on the water with stunts and entertainment for the whole family. At least, when it existed. Yes, the show has officially folded and just one year shy of its 70th anniversary. And you can blame the coronavirus for this unfortunate news as well. Here's part of the official statement shared by Madison's WKOW-TV.

With so much uncertainty surrounding the future of the pandemic and travel, we cannot undergo additional financial risk and investment to begin planning for summer 2021.

While the “Greatest Show on H2O!” is no mo, there is a silver lining. The interactive Tommy Bartlett Exploratory will remain open for business for the foreseeable future. Tickets start at $15 for adults, $12 for kids ages 5-11. You can grab a peek at their science center here.
