How to do Common Core Math, Lori Tries It! [VIDEO]

What happened to subtracting the little number from the big number, carrying the one and calling it a day?

Well, in most schools in America, Common Core Math is the new standard of teaching.

I'll admit, when I first saw a Common Core Math problem I thought it was completely rediculous. But, today I grabbed some scratch paper and tried the method myself.

It actually isn't difficult at all! I understand the process now and I don't fear helping my future children with their Common Core Math homework some day.

Although I prefer the original method, I have to say I don't think there is anything wrong with Common Core Math. There is nothing wrong with being different.
