It's a bird, it's a plane, it's an Elon Musk project!

No, actually. A lot of the Stateline had a mini freakout last night when they saw a string of bright lights in the sky forming a line. Not like a shooting star, like a bunch of little lights in a line.

Look how strange it looked -

But don't be freaked out like a lot of people were, it's actually Elon Musk's SpaceX project "StarLink".

WIFR details -

Did you see some bright lights forming a line in the skies earlier this evening? Thanks to all for sending pictures. They aren't meteors, they are satellites from Elon Musk's SpaceX project 'StarLink.' The company wants to operate 12,000 of these in orbit and potentially up to 42,000!

The goal of this project is to provide high-speed internet service from all of these satellites. Scientists say they each are about the size of a flattened car, each coming with a solar panel reflecting sunlight. On a clear night like today, most of the time you'll be able to see these satellites. So there will be plenty more opportunities to see these.

At this point in quarantine, if I would've seen it, I FOR SURE would've assumed aliens. Life is so weird right now, I wouldn't be surprised.
