Gorgeous Wisconsin Sunflower Field is Perfect for Your Family Photos
Running through a field of sunflowers is the kind of memory we all want. We're blessed to have some great spots in the area. One of them is hosting a photo event.
Sunflower Season is HERE!
The most important thing to know about sunflower season is that it is incredibly short. Sunflower fields are typically in bloom for just 2 - 3 weeks, and weather plays a big role.
This is just so you don't wait too long to take advantage of what's happening at Skelly's Farm Market in Janesville, Wisconsin. This is the farm's 4th year of offering the sunflower experience. Over 5 acres of sunflowers to enjoy.
Skelly's divides their sunflower experience into three different areas:
- The Walking Area (4 acres)
- The Cutting Area
- The Specialty Flower Area
That Walking area feature some great staged opportunities to take your own photos. They call those spots, 'Prop Stops' and they have signs that direct you to those areas. The Cutting area is just what you think; you get to cut your own sunflowers to bring home. The Specialty Flower Area features over 20 different types of sunflowers.
