When I was a kid, my favorite toys were action figures. I had a great collection that included Star Wars, Super Heroes, Evel Knievel, and so many more. The one on the top of my list was G.I. Joe.

Wisconsin Museum To Host G.I. Joe Exhibit

G.I. Joe action figures were the best. The coolest had kung fu grip, life-like hair, and it could talk. Plus, the awesome uniforms, weapons, and vehicles. I had hours of fun playing with those toys.

The Civil War Museum in Kenosha is hosting a special exhibit honoring my favorite toy. It's called "G.I. Joe: America's First Action Figure. It's at the end of its run on March 9th so you'll want to go check it out this week. It will be worth the trip.

This exhibit features the history of the toy and the story behind its famous characters. Of course, there's plenty of vintage and new action figures on display. It will take you back in time as a kid, playing with your favorites.

I believe it would be a good way for parents and their children to bond over toys. The G.I. Joe brand has been very important to the whole toy industry. Plus, it shows pride for the United States and our military.

According to Kenosha Civil War Museum in Wisconsin, "From the beginning, G.I. Joe action figures allowed children to explore all kinds of heroic and daring adventures."
