Throughout Illinois, especially in the Chicago area, there are some old train buildings still standing even though that line is no longer around. Some have been converted into other businesses. There is actually one in my old hometown that is now a museum.
Illinois Brewery Hosts Ghost Tour
Every railroad has an end of the line. For many trains back in the day, running in and out of Chicago into the suburbs, there was a roundhouse in Aurora. That's where many of them would turn around and head back to the city.

That roundhouse was left abandoned for many years, but in the mid-90s, former Chicago Bear great Walter Payton found the place and made it into a brewery, bar, and restaurant. It was a really cool place. After he died, it was sold and became Two Brothers Roundhouse.
The roundhouse is famous for its paranormal activity. It's been haunted by former railroad employees and train passengers. Some people say the spirit of Walter Payton also wanders the halls of the brewery.

Now, the public will finally get the opportunity to participate in a ghost tour and investigation. The tours are hosted by American Ghost Walks. There's so much paranormal activity going on in the building that you're almost guaranteed to have some sort of ghost experience.
According to Chicago Hauntings Tour in Illinois, This 1-1/2 hour lantern-guided ghost tour inside Aurora's Two Brothers Roundhouse includes an opportunity for ghost tour guests to participate in a paranormal investigation in an attempt to determine if there is indeed life AFTER the end of the line in Aurora, Illinois.
