Get Ready Rockton, Your Downtown Just Grew up

Rockton, Illinois is growing up right before our eyes.

The quiet but exciting downtown of Rockton, IL just got a little more "high tech". The amount of traffic, obvious safety concerns, and who knows what else, have landed Rockton with new traffic lights.

So as you are approaching downtown to grab an ice cream cone, getting ready to leave town on 75, or maybe you just want to bring candy and flowers to Steve Dickson, you will encounter the brand new lights in the photo above.

Did you know there are "Traffic Engineers"? I'm sure the study of traffic flow, the amount of usage, and trying to find a damn parking spot in Downtown Rockton all played a vital role. O.K., maybe not the last one that's just me.
